Sporting Clays Shoot
June 23, 2023 The Cedar Gate at County Road North 2740, Kingfisher, OK.

Directions to The Cedar Gate: From the intersection of highway 81 and highway 3 go west 10.5 miles and then turn north at the loyal exit which is also N2740 Rd. Then go 2.25 miles and turn left at the main entrance.
Registration - 7:30 Mandatory Safety Meeting - 8:30 a.m. *Be ready to shoot following the mandatory safety meeting. Lunch and prizes will be awarded following the course completion.
Golf carts and side by sides are LIMITED AVAILABILITY and you CAN bring your own to the event.
2023 Last day for Pre-Entry is June 16th. Early entry fees are $100/individual and $400/team
*On-site entry available for $125/individual and $500/team
Each shooter MUST fill out a waiver in the entry form!

What is Sporting Clays and what is the format of the event?
Sporting Clays is often referred to as “golf with a shotgun”. The shoot will begin in the morning and conclude around lunch.
- Participants travel from station to station and shoot at 60 targets in different presentations and spread throughout 15 stations.
- Participants can compete as an individual or as a team of 4.
- Score is kept and the individual or team that breaks the most clay targets wins.
What do I need to bring?
- Shotgun of your choice
- Shells - 7.5, 8 and 9 lead shot only and no more than 1 and 1/8 once. Reloads are no preferred. All ammo is inspected.
- Eye and ear protection. There are some available for sale a the clubhouse if needed
Purpose of OCF Sporting Clays Shoot
The OCF Sporting Clays Shoot is designed to provide fellowship and networking opportunities with OCA members, family and allied industry partners in a relaxed and fun environment.
The OCF provides a vehicle for OCA members to contribute tax deductible funds (consult your tax professional) to help support educational programs, research projects, educational scholarships, and the OCA Theft Reward Program. The proceeds from the OCF Sporting Clays Shoot will generate funds for the OCF to use in each of these areas.
