POINT SYSTEM FOR YEAR END AWARDS TRIPLE CROWN AWARDS

• Points are awarded at three shows throughout the year. Tulsa State Fair, Oklahoma Youth Expo and the OJCA Summer Preview Show.
• Exhibitor must be member in good standing by Sept. 15 to be eligible for year-end Triple Crown division awards.
• Points will be awarded in class and breed only. Top 10 in each class will receive points. No points for Overall Grand or Supreme are awarded.
• Points are awarded as follows: 1st in Class: 10 points; 2nd: 9 points; 3rd: 8 points; 4th: 7 points; 5th: 6 points; 6th: 5 points; 7th: 4 points; 8th: 3 points; 9th: 2 points; 10th: 1 point
• 3 Bonus points will be added for breeds with more than 25 head being exhibited in the particular show. Points would be 13, 11, 10, 9, 8, 7, 6.
• Breed Champions will receive 10 bonus points with Res. Breed Champions receiving 5 bonus points.


 

POINT SYSTEM FOR ALL-AROUND JR. CATTLEMAN OF THE YEAR AWARD

• Major points are awarded in Top Ten Triple Crown Heifer, Top Ten Triple Crown Steer, and Top Ten Steer Feedout Contests.
• Minor points are awarded in the following OJCA Contests: Speech, Star Junior Cattleman and Salesmanship.
• Member must be in good standing entire year to qualify. Novice points do not count for All Around award
• Major points are 10 for all top ten contestants and 2 point bonus for first place contestant.
• Minor points are 5 for all top three contestants and 2 point bonus for first place contestant.
